Kellogg Concepts has completed fabrication of the custom-made media center modular cabinets.  The center module has been constructed with demountable parts including the base frame for four removable file drawers and three removable upper shelves.  To limit deflection of the upper level shelf four feet span, each shelf is reinforced with two inch wood ribs that carry through the line of the wood bar for the LED light at the right side display module.  The media center has been finished by Finishing by Grace with two coats of sealer and two coats of water based spray-on lacquer.   Refer to the “Design” gallery for the description and images of the completed unit, and “Architecture” gallery for description of utilizing the media center modular cabinet as part of a Library – Media Room  Interiors Remodel project.

The first phase construction of the two end modules demonstrated the concept of building a completely demountable unit that can be transported and assembled easily in the intended space, and detailing that includes cherry wood dowel shelf supports and cherry wood pegs mounted proud of the frame at the recessed screw attachment of the demountable components.
