Kellogg Concepts has completed architectural design services for complete remodeling of the client’s Kitchen – Dining wing of their existing house. The design solution includes creating a formal Dining area in the existing bay window part of the wing, and expanding and relocating the Kitchen area to one half of the existing wing.
The formal Dining area includes space for the client’s classic hardwood furniture including expandable dining table, sideboard cabinet, and display hutch. The Kitchen area includes a new breakfast counter, food prep island, double wall oven and pantry cabinet, and cooktop area with decorative vent hood and wall mounted pot hangers. The architectural design of the kitchen area is enhanced with the addition of a sink bay window and raised ceiling soffit with two 14” dia sun tunnels over the food prep island to increase the ceiling height and natural light into the space.
Architectural services included 3D Sketch-up renderings of design options to enable the client to visualize multiple design layouts and options for the design style.
